The French Revolution - Part I

Part I - Overview

The French Revolution is a major event during the later 18th century. It lasted from 1789, when armed citizens stormed Bastille, a prison in Paris to 1799, when Napoleon Bonaparte(He was not that short!!!lol!) took control of the government as a hero in the military campaign and established the French Empire. He was initially successful in his campaign and conquered half of Europe, but was defeated in Russia. He abdicated in 1814 and 1815, the end of the French Empire and Revolution.
